2017-2018 Winter Flying starts November 5th!

Spectators

Quick Tips
  • We love to answer questions, so ask all you want!
  • Keep a safe distance from any running helicopters
  • Stay in the spectator area (see “red” zone on map)
  • Keep a close eye on children; safety is our top priority
  • Pets must be well-behaved and leashed at all times
  • If you enjoy smoking, please do so at a good distance from others
  • Alcohol is never allowed at the field

Flying RC Helicopters is a neat hobby and we love to share it with others. Spectators are ALWAYS welcome at our club field and events. The best time to come watch is Wednesday nights during the summer, between about 5pm and 9pm (yes, some people fly lighted helis in the dark!) If it’s raining we will not be flying, so save your gas and come out when it’s sunny! This year we also regularly fly on Sunday afternoons.

We would love to see you at the field!

The easiest way to get to the field is to go to http://maps.google.com and search for directions from your house to “Public Works Garage near Gorham, ME.” When you get to the public works garage, you will pull into the driveway on the left and pass all of the public works vehicles and their garage. You’ll find a small dirt road at the end of the driveway on the left beside the giant piles of dirt. This little dirt road will bring you to our field.
